Cinque Terra all the way to Bellagio

Wow. The morning on Vernazza was spent   hiking and exploring. We climbed part of the trail towards Montorosso do Mare  then  back   down to the harbor and up the Castello Doria. After a cappuccino  and snack we told Vernazza good bye for now.

We went by car from Vernazza to Lake Como Bellagio. The drive out of the Cinque  Terra was, well, either amazing for some and frightening for others. The heights and the narrow roads, hair pin curves and Italian driving style was for some wonderfully exciting. For me  I can just say um, exciting in a hair raising manner. It took a while to navigate our way towards La Spieza, long enough for me to wonder why I thought this was a good way to go. Regardless we made it safely out and up the Autostrada towards Milano. Pushing on north towards the west side of Largo Como provided more amazing car moments. Most riders loved it. Some kept their eyes closed. In the end the arrival and then ferry Todd over to Bellagio was lovely. Arriving to Bellagio over the deep blue waters was perfect!
Our little Hotel Bellagio is centrally located but up 38 "shallow" steps that make you rethink the dresses and shies you  packed. After a relaxing drink, off for dinner. Town was busy but not to many groups. It was cool so we ate under a awning and it was perfecto.

Great wines- regional whites and fish. Delicious. A stroll through town, down steps to the waterfront and The daily gelato. Off to bed after quite a day of ups and downs.

Bellagio is our next Italian Paradise!

The aqua harbor is hard to believe! Boats were not out due to the prior days storm

The third floor shower at the  Pensione  looks out to the street !! and some family  members preferred I help shut the windows. Prego!

Ciao Bellagio!

The ride  was thrilling but when we arrived at Tremezzo for the ferry crossing it was with relief. The views over the water were so beautiful.
We liked the cute petit cars!
